Has it been a month already? Good heavens! So how has everyone in the blogging world been? Good? Bad? I’ve been pretty dandy. Busy of course. Lots of things going on such as, college, moezart…oh wait, that’s it. Oh well, it seems like a lot more than just those two things! For college Im studying College Composition (basically CLEP’s version of English 101) and at PVCC I’m taking CPD 150. It’s a college success class. Oh, have I not told you that I am attending community college now? Yeah! Collegeplus isn’t working out for me so I decided to try community college. I like it a lot better!
You know how I graduated from Moezart about this time last year? And how I cried my eyes out because I was so sad it was over? Well….I am in the middle schooler’s play, HONK! The Musical! It’s super fantastical and I’m having so much fun!
Anyway, I’m trying to get into the habit of blogging once a week. About three weeks ago I told myself I should do this. As you can see, I haven’t kept my promise. :P
So this post is basically just a compilation of random photos from the past couple months.
A lot of these photos were taken with my iPhone 4S. It has slowly become my new favorite camera. I find myself reaching for it instead of my DSLR. I love the instant share-abilty and compactness of it. It fits in my pocket and goes everywhere with me. It’s definitely not replacing my DSLR for “professional” work, but for just a carrying-around camera, it’s fantastic!
(Taken with the Canon) This is what we woke up to one morning at our new cabin in Pinetop. By the end of the day, a lot of the snow had melted. (It is also my current blog header.)
Just went for a walk around the neighborhood. (Taken with my iPhone, edited in Photoshop)
Ive started running A/V at our church. I thought the light was so purty that morning. :) (Taken with iPhone, edited in Instagram)
So I got a Macro/Wide-Angle lens for my iPhone. The macro lens is CRAZY close and CRAZY good. haha (Taken with iPhone, edited with Instagram)
Met up with Christian down in Tempe for a little photography adventure. Christian uses a Nikon so I threw him behind bars. ;) (Taken with the Canon)
A tower in Tempe.
These are some of the middle schoolers I get to hang out with every Tuesday. Andrew (L) and Brett (R). I have adopted them as my children because they are awesome! (Taken with iPhone)
I’ll do another post talkin’ about how amazing the iPhone 4S’s camera is. It’s crazy good.
Have a good day!
Here is the other part of yesterday’s pano. The software I use doesn’t let me do more than 16.

Since the weather is getting warmer (more or less hot), I started thinking about the snow in Carefree a few weeks ago. Oh how I wish it were still that cool. :P This is a panoramic I took from the adventure.

A rare occasion happened here in Arizona this weekend, it snowed! Now it didn’t snow in the valley but it did snow on the McDowell’s and a whole bunch in Carefree!

- Ice on a cactus! haha :D
I love this shot! Snow on a baby barrel cactus. :)
I really like this shot. I would love to have a home out there. :)
Day 335 – my dad thought it would be a cool idea to drive out to Four Peaks to photograph them because they have a bunch of snow on them! So that’s what we did this afternoon. :) Of course, the overcast just happened to roll in today also, which kinda makes getting contrast-y photos difficult because when the mountain is gray and so is the sky…well theres not much contrast.
Four Peaks! Look at all that snow! :D
For all you people who are wondering what this is, this is a cactus! It is a desert plant that is very thorny and can live for hundreds of years! Natives Arizonans just scroll onto the next photo, nothin' new here.
So the over cast was annoying, but luckily the sun broke out for a few minutes and let some light shine on the mountains!
I thought this one looked really cool!
Birthday letter numbah two!
I forgot to draw it today, so I used paint. haha
Now don’t get me wrong, I love my new camera and the lens are great, but again, I’ve got to kind of relearn the limitations of them and then learn what they work best at. If that makes sense. Well I should say first that I’m slightly disappointed in how the pictures turned out. But it’s mostly my fault.

Wow! What a crazy weird day. Well I mean I guess weird is pretty normal for me. But beside all that gobble-y gook, it snowed in Scottsdale, Arizona today!!!! No, I’m not joking, but sadly I don’t have photographic evidence because by the time I would have gotten my camera ready and gone outside, it would have already disappeared. I guess it snowed for like a minute or two. I actually saw it too! But the funny thing is, is snowflakes are small! So its pretty hard to photograph them. Yeah, so it was pretty awesome. It was also windy and coooold today. Like Im freezing right now. Its awesome. Its suppose to be 28-32 degrees here in the valley. Really have no idea what that means but from what I hear from, that’s “cold.” Whatever that means.
Oh! And today at Target the checkout lady was EPIC! Her name was Jojo and she was so cool! She was like really perky and bubbly and was one of those people who just brightened up your day right away! Yeah, she was pretty cool.
Day 332 – Just a few pictures from the day.
Today was just a perfect day for photographing clouds! They were puffy, fluffy, and big! This has been slightly PSed but the difference is fairly insignificant. Taken with 50mm.
I like planes. :)
Again, remind me to tell you all about what I learned the other day! I need to tell you but I’ll need time to make two blog posts (one about it and for P365).

November 1, 2010 Post
- Huuuuuhhh….We had to leave these, The Three Sisters. So. Bummed. BTW, this was the view from the airport. Sure do greet you with a crummy view. ;)
- Well I decided to try a little street photography. In which I dubbed “Airport Photography.” I got quite a few random photos of random people living out their life while being trapped inside an airport.
- I will say that three of the people (bottom) are my Dad, Mom, and Jeni. Jeni was one of the people we saw in Sisters.
- Ok, so seriously. I love this photo. She had no idea I took her photo! I love how she’s just starring off into space. haha
- I thought this one was cool too. I like how the person in the reflection is kinda like “looking” at the lady on her phone.
- THE RESCUE PLANE!!!! So the plane on the right is the broken one while the other one is the fixed one! :D
So this is what its like being trapped in an airport terminal for 10 hours. (read Terminal and see what I blogged about while I was sitting at the airport) Yes, you heard me right. Ten. Hours. And there was nothing to do. Seriously. There was one restaurant and about 300 waiting people. There were two groups of people there. One was waiting for its flight to Vegas, and the other to Mesa/Phoenix. Both Allegiant. The flight to Vegas hadnt left Vegas because they had to get a mechanic and some parts on board to fly out to Redmond to fix our plane to Phoenix. So their flight was delayed. Then when it got here, they had the wrong part. So they had to get another plane to finish up its route to come and take us home. So after a few more hours, and some free pizza from Allegiant, the rescue plane came and took us home! Yup, that was Monday. haha
