A Few Colorado Photos

So Im sure you would all like to see a few photos from Colorado. So here they are. We haven’t really done anything that is “super” photographic. But tomorrow we are going to Durango and Silverton so I should find a few things to photograph.

I like this post. Each photo is so colorful and rich. Very little photoshopping done. Just some compression and slight lightening.

Im in Texas Yall

Howdy Yall! Oh yes, I am already in the Texas spirit. Currently, my family and I are in Texas for a few days to see a few of my mom’s friends. After that, we are going to Colorado for my grandmother’s funeral. She past away a couple of weeks ago. Once we are all finished there, we are going over to Durango to cool off and take a break. Golly, summer vacation hasn’t really felt like summer vacation. We’ve been so gosh-darn busy we really havent had a decent break. Hence why we are going to Durango.

Anyway, here are a few photos. They may not be my best, but I still like them. :)

Anyway, had a great day with my cousins today. They drove from Fort Worth just to see us! Isn’t that nice? We went to Blue Sky for lunch (they have the most amazing burgers there) and then to the Theaters to see Winnie the Pooh. :) I really liked it. It was nice to see something that wasn’t about killing people, or war, or cursing, nothing. It was just Winnie the Pooh. :D

Well, it’s time now that I get to bed. I’m pooped. We didn’t sleep to well because it was hot. I had also decided that I would get a shower in the morning instead of before bed. Bad idea. I was all sticky and gross throughout the night. Blah. So yeah, not doing that again. haha

Glacier National Park

On This Day – Today my sister and I had to go into the office with my dad. Yeah. Bucket loads of fun I tell ya. So basically I did a ton of school today. Around lunch time though (we got lunch drrrr…) we went to go and get our Christmas gifts for some kids who’s parents are in prison! It’s something our church is doing. We thought it would be something cool to do because those kids probably wont be having as grand of Christmas as some. So its just kind of our way of showing that someone cares for them. :) Other then that, my day was pretty null.

Day 303 – for some odd reason I dont seem to take pictures on Wednesdays. I dont know why. So I decided to go back into the archives (UGH!) and look for an old photo from yonder way back when! This one is from a long time ago. Like a few years ago! It was taken on the Olympus and was taken in Glacier National Park. It’s in Montana. If you have never been there, GO! It’s like one of the prettiest places EVER!!!

Now in my opinion, I thought the original was pretty dang good...

...but then I Photoshopped it. Oh man! I was impressed with my editing skillz! (but not my spelling)

Then I punched myself.

Yeah, well Ive got school tomorrow, so I should probably get to bed. Yup. Night.

A Very Mickey Christmas!

On This Day – Pity. Today I had to start doing school again. Poo! I was really enjoying Thanksgiving Break. Oh well. So today my mom and I spent most the afternoon looking for a book that I needed to start for CollegePlus. Haha, we never found it! Its like it evaporated! So my mom went to Barnes and Noble and luckily they had one copy left! So she got it. Phew! After that my math tutor came and…tutored me (just statin’ the obvious). Ate dinner and now Im blogging while listening to music. Dont like this song Im listening to, so Im going to listen to a different one. All better.

Day 301 – I jus took this one! I was sitting here on the computer hesitating to plug in my external hard drive, and look around for another photo. Hurray for spur-of-the-moment photographs and inspiration! We got this Mickey ornament when we went to Disney World…last year?? Two years ago?? Crud! Im getting old! Im forgetting stuff! :O

I personally thought the original was pretty good! I had to play around with WB a little because my camera was a little confused of the current lighting situation. haha

But as always PS always tends to make a good picture, a better photograph! A lot of minor adjusting here.

Well I hope yall have a wonderful evening! I got to go reread my script again because Im starting to forget my lines a little! :O Uh oh! Anyway, gotta go bundle up now! Its suppose to be 29 degrees tonight here in Phoenix!!!!!! I know!!!!! Im freaking out too! Something is wrong!!!

Three Sisters

On This Day – Our Sunday’s usually always start out the same, and this one was no different. We went to church and then afterwards went to Taco Bell for lunch. I dont really know why we go there after church, but its become a tradition. haha Once we got home from The Bell, we finished decorating our house for Christmas. My sister and I asked my dad if he would take us to see the new Harry Potter movie! He said yes! hurray! So yeah, my sister and I just got back from HP and we thought it was awesome!!!! But come on, theyve gotta drag it out into another movie?? I mean seriously, they left me hanging there! I need to know how it ENDS!!! NOW!! No, I havent read the book yet, Im sorry. But it was something to do. Now I want to get all the books and read them! Yes. I love reading. Im a home-schooler for goodness sake’s!

Day 300 – Wowzers! Day 300! That means Im only 65 days (trust me, it’ll go quickly) away from finishing P365!!! Holy Moly! Well anyways, I didnt get a picture today. So Imma leave you with this one. Its a picture of the Three Sisters in Sisters, Oregon.

Here is the original. I took it after we had checked into our room. Yes, this was the view from the patio, and it was also the only time we got to see all the Sisters without clouds covering them.

 

And here's the edited. Just kinda boosted the color and stuff. Basic editing my friends. Not rocket science.

Well anyways, I should probably go…do…something. Dont know what. To early for bed. But to late for anything else. I have to start school tomorrow. Bleck. Oh well. Three more weeks to Christmas break!!!!

Day 247 – Well I didnt get a picture today so I went and looked through some of the old Chicago pictures. Its not very good but it’ll have to do for tonight.
