Panasonic Lumix FZ35

My Panasonic Lumix FZ-35. This was my first camera I ever owned. It is an 12 Megapixel, 18x optical zoom (27mm-486mm), superzoom point and shoot camera. But don’t let the name fool you! It is a super nice camera for the money. It has a bright Leica DC Vario-Elmarit (f2.8 at 27mm and f4.4 at 486mm) and is a “true” wide-angle lens. It has been a great camera for starting off in photography. It has all the features of an enter-level DSLR such as manual, aperture, and shutter priority modes, and even a huge selection of scene modes.

I’m pretty impressed with how well the camera performs. The pictures are sharp and clear and very little distortion. The thing even records in 720p HD with Dolby Stereo Sound (AVCHD Lite Format or Motion JPEG)!

If you are looking for a camera to start in photography, or would like a camera that isn’t as big as a DSLR, this is a fantastic camera!
